8 de Março Primary School of Xai-Xai
On 27 June 2009, Xai-Xai Branch carried out voluntary work at 8 de Março Primary School in Xai-Xai. The event was attended by: BBM staff, one representative of the District Department of Culture and Education, the School Director, parents and tutors, teachers, community members, all making approximately 45 people, and also 25 students.
The voluntary work involved:
- Coating of floor and walls of some classrooms;
- Painting of some classroom walls;
- Cleaning of the school yard;
- Construction of improved latrine.
