Barclays Bank celebrates this year's 10th year of Barclays Group investment in Mozambique.
On the occasion of Barclays' 10th anniversary in Mozambique, Barclays Africa Executive Committee members visited the country to meet with clients, regulators and officials to discuss the bank's strategy in Africa.
Maria Ramos, Chief Executive of Absa Group and Chief Executive of Barclays Africa led the delegation.
To celebrate Barclays' 10th anniversary in Mozambique, a Gala dinner was held at Hotel Polana, attended by Mozambican Finance Minister Manuel Chang, Barclays Mozambique PCA, Luísa Diogo, members of the Barclays Executive Committee Africa, managers of Barclays Mozambique and clients of the bank.
This event featured a side event called "Africa Economic Outlook," where executives discussed the bank's strategy in Africa as well as global, regional and country economic ideas.

In Mozambique, Barclays is represented across the country, with a strong presence in all provinces, providing financial services to a large number of individuals and companies. Barclays has a clear segmentation strategy in Mozambique, targeting mainly multinational companies, SMEs and entrepreneurs throughout the country, without neglecting the population that seeks quality financial services.
During these 10 years, Barclays has invested in crucial sectors of development of the national economy such as trade, agriculture, SMEs, infrastructure and investments.
