Barclays Colours of Life (CoL) Awards is a national competition which recognises the selfless work and contribution of NGOs in Mauritius and Rodrigues and aims at showcasing and rewarding NGOs for their invaluable contribution through successful projects.

Background

Barclays Bank Mauritius Limited held its fourth edition of the Barclays Colours of Life (CoL) Awards in 2016.

A total of 15  finalists were selected in 2016. Of these 15, seven of the NGOs were rewarded a total of MUR1.3 million. The project of rehabilitating people who are dependent on drugs and alcohol by the ‘Centre de Solidarité’ won the first prize of MUR500,000.

All 15 finalists will benefit from training in a variety of related specialised fields.
